This spectacular event has become a perennial favorite of the Aiken community and features delectable signature dishes from 19 of the areas finest restaurants and caters, a vast array of wines from around the world for tasting and purchase, plus an eclectic array of beers. All proceeds benefits the Arts Center's operating expenses.

A Bang-Up Good Time! - A clay shooting party and dinner for 20 at Aiken County’s famous “Carolina Star.”

Black Tie Dinner at “Crossways” - A formal dinner for 16 at the exquisite Crossways historic estate. Hors d’oeuvres and champagne, followed by a 3-course dinner.

Leisure on Lake Murray - Enjoy 3 days and nights on the shores of Lake Murray. This beautifully appointed home accommodates up to 16 people. 180-degree views of Lake Murray. Full Chef’s kitchen, boat dock, hot tub, pool table, 50” plasma TV, WiFi, and satellite TV. Superb fishing right off your dock!

“Mediterranean Mezze” Dinner for Eight - This will be a multi-course fiesta of small plates incorporating the delicious cuisine of the Mediterranean. Each wine and every dish will be scrumptious!

Juniper on Fairway - Enjoy a catered dinner for 10, with food served by chef Brandon from Juniper Restaurant in Ridge Spring. Your dinner party will be held in a beautiful new Highland Park home with wine provided by the hosts.

Oyster Roast - Dish up some delicious Carolina fun for 20 people with this catered oyster roast at Aiken’s historic Outing Club. Every detail will be tended to by your hosts.

 

Hors d’oeuvres by The Willcox - Imagine hosting an intimate cocktail party for 10 of your friends without ever stirring a pot! The Willcox Inn will provide delicious hors d’oeuvres for 10 people.

Polo Picnic - Enjoy an exciting polo match on Aiken’s famous Whitney Field and a delicious picnic for 10 by Aiken’s favorite guitarist/chef: Dan Bullington. Your delicious picnic will be served under towering hardwood trees on a private patio overlooking the Whitney Polo Field.

Croquet Lessons and Lunch For Four - Enjoy a private croquet lesson for a group of 4 taught by the Green Boundary Club’s own croquet star Bob Newburn plus lunch at the Green Boundary Club before or after the lesson.

“Aiken Sparkle” - A one-of-a-kind necklace created by PJ Bundy especially for the Aiken Center for the Arts. This unique necklace combines vintage jewelry fragments from Nepal and Europe with white turquoise and amber. The necklace beads are constructed from WWI shell casings and were originally used by Chanel.

Heaven at Livingston Beach - Enjoy one week in a fabulous home at South Carolina’s premier coastal area. Two blocks from Brookgreen Gardens preserve and sculpture garden. Four bedrooms, three baths.

Enjoy a delightful morning of learning and tastes from one of the regions most notable cooking authors.

This year's The Art of Taste cookbook lecture features Gena Knox, author of Southern My Way: Simple Recipes, Fresh Flavors. Winner of the “2011 Eric Hoefer Independent Publishing Award of Excellence” and 2011 Cookbook of the Year.

Gena is passionate about sharing her modern take on Southern specialties, which are rooted in the Southern classics she was raised on, but freshened with contemporary flavors, lightened up and streamlined for busier lives.

Everyone attending the event will be treated to a tasty specially-prepared treat from one of the recipes in the cookbook.

Attendees may also purchase as many copies of the book as they desire for the discounted price of $30.00 (regularly $34.95). Each copy will be signed and personally inscribed by Gena Knox per the personal requests of the purchaser.
