Gallery store sales and class fees alone do not cover cost to operate and offer the quality arts programming available at the Aiken Center for the Arts. The Aiken Center for the Arts thrives because of the generous support of individual donors, community foundations and corporations. Fundraising events are an integral to our success.
A Taste of Wine & Art
The month of October the Aiken Center for the Arts (ACA) celebrates the culinary arts with an art exhibit dedicated to food and wine; painting classes, a wine tasting class; The Art of Taste Cookbook Lecture; and the main event, A Taste of Wine and Art featuring a tasting of more than 50 wines from around the world and sample size portions of Aiken’s finest restaurants’ signature dishes. All proceeds support the Aiken Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Thursday, October 9
(6:15 PM for VIP) 7:00 - 9:30 PM
A Taste of Wine and Art features a tasting of more than 50 wines from around the world and sample size portions of signature dishes from more than 20 of Aiken’s finest restaurants’ and caterers. Additional beverage choices include beer samples, non-alcoholic beverages and a cash bar featuring spirits. The Silent Auction is dedicated to “Happenings” – dinner gatherings, event packages, destination getaways, sports opportunities, etc. – all created especially for this event. New this year, VIP Ticket holders will receive early admission, a drink ticket for a full glass of wine at the cash bar, and a commemorative bottle of wine to remember the evening.

Advance tickets are $45 for ACA Members and $50 for Non-Members through September 30th.
October 1-9 tickets are $55 (ACA Members) and $60 (Non-Members).
A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $100. Be the first to sample the food and wine and to bid on the silent auction! VIP tickets include early admission (6:15 PM, 45 minutes before other guests), a complimentary bottle of wine, and a complimentary glass of wine from the cash bar.
