Aiken Arts Alive is a day of fun experiences through out the Art Center with live entertainment (singers to cloggers to performing ponies), artists demonstrations, Summer Camp art shows.

There will also be free activities including: children’s crafts, mural painting, wacky photography, balloon creations by Donna Jean’s Balloons & Things, face painting and many celebrities.

On going live entertainment will be performed by Porkchop Productions, South Boundary, Little Richard the Shetland Pony and ABATSU, African American Dancer and Drummers, and Aiken Singers.

The Reception for the Aiken Center for the Arts’ Summer Camps, the POWER of Art, and the SC Watermedia exhibition will take place during Aiken Arts Alive. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Adding to the festive event will be participation from other Aiken organizations: ABBE Regional Library System, The Aiken Community Playhouse Youth Wing, ASPCA Aiken Public Safety, and the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department. Come join in the fun.
